Exchange your old drivers for the new present technology, basic driver to use with your old cabinets -- the Ohm Walsh 300-F conversion. (or 2.5) If you convert to Ohm Walsh 300-Fs and want deeper, stronger bass; you can upgrade your cabinets to the system into Walsh 300- FVs. Option one will sound much, much better than your Ohm Fs and have the flexibility to balance the sound to your taste and room characteristics. The second option gives you deeper bass, smoother midrange and extended highs. The third (or 2.5) option also extends low bass even further and allows them to play twice as loud in the deep bass range. The Ohm Walsh 300-FV is an upgrade of the Ohm Walsh 300-F. It involves converting the old Ohm Fs cabinets from air suspension to vented systems. The inputs are changed to gold plated binding posts that accept banana plugs or wire up to 12 gauge. Extra bracing and damping is also added to control the extra power. Castors are added for precise placement. The net effect is extending the deep bass response and increasing the maximum bass output ability by double. You can make the upgrade after you have lived with the Ohm Walsh 300-Fs and are satisfied the new technology and know you want the extra bass. The upgrade should take less than four hours for a moderately experienced wood working hobbyist. The upgrade costs $250 if you do the work or $450 if we do the conversion.
