The FRS-11 is a tall square tower with each corner cut about 2''. One of the cut corners displays the Ohm logo near the top, just below the grill. The FRS-11 is a true Walsh speaker designed for small to medium sized rooms. They create a precise stereo image from a very wide Sweet-Sweep. We call the effect Full Room Stereo and we named it after this benefit.
To acheive Full Room Stereo the speakers should be set up six to eight feet apart with the Ohm logos pointed so the crossfire is in front of the listening area. Nothing taller than the cabinets should be placed between them (at least half of the speakers should be totally clear).
Upgrade Options:
The speaker can be upgraded with Walsh 200 Mk-2 driver
and a vent adapter to tune the cabinet lower for deeper bass. Installation
requires a screwdriver and takes only 10 minutes to install.
Trade-In Options:
Ohm allows up to $1395 for the return of a complete undamaged pair of Ohm
FRS-11s toward 25% of the purchase price of new Ohm speakers.
