The Walsh 1 is the least expensive Walsh speaker Ohm has made using real wood veneer cabinets. It used the Walsh 2 cabinet and grill with a simplified Walsh 2 driver. It had no controls and no logo on the cabinet itself, but an Ohm logo on the cloth grill. There is nothing inside the cabinet or driver that requires periodic maintanence. There should be a label under the grill that says ''aim toward center of room''. This label should be opposite the corner where the wires are coming out of the driver can. The Walsh 1 should be set up six to eight feet apart, with the labels on the inside front corners for peak performance and Full Room Stereo effect.
