The Sound Cylinder Series was the best value Walsh speakers made by Ohm. The cabinets used the inherent structral strength of a round cylinder. The 1/4'' fibre wall was more rigid than the 3/4'' MDF walls of good cabinets. Lead sheets were used to damp the few cabinet resonances and the drivers were all pure second generation Walsh technology. We used an inverted full range driver with a supertweeter to extend the high frequency response. Each model had different supertweeters and different sized cabinets to acheive different treble and bass extension, yet the critical mid-bass to mid-treble is the same on all models.
The PRO Series were in black and the SC Series in dark oak. The peak music power rating was the model number for the PRO series. The SC series were each 2'' shorter and had a 25 watt lower rating:
| SCS | 125 watts |
| PRO-150 | 150 |
| SCT | 175 |
| PRO-200 | 200 |
| SCT+ | 225 |
| PRO-250 | 250 |
They all produed Full Room Stereo; when a firm precise stereo image is heard from a wide Sweet-Sweep instead of a narrow Sweet-Spot.
