The B2 was the most sensitive speaker Ohm ever produced. It was basically a 2-way 6.5'' woofer and a 1'' dome tweeter combined with a built in 12'' subwoofer. With the woofer firing toward the ceiling and the tweeter into the room, is was an early effort at controlled dispersion. The bass and midrange were fully omnidirectional while the treble fired away from the walls and made placement much easier than a fully omnidirectional speaker.
Upgrade Options:
We have an improved 6.5'' woofer with a poly-cone for a smoother transition to the tweeter. A SubBass Activator can also be added to the subwoofer to extend the bass, reduce the distortion and increase the dynamic range, plus uses a self-resetting protection circuit.
Trade-In Options:
Ohm allows up to $1000 for the return of a complete undamaged pair of Ohm B2s toward 25% of the purchase price of new Ohm speakers.
