The Ohm K was a less expenive version of the Ohm H. They both had the same 8'' woofer, 12'' passive radiator and low tweeter. The K had a vinyl covered cabinet instead of the H's real walnut veneer. The K also had a less expensive super-tweeter. The sound was nearly identical, including the exceptional deep bass.
Upgrade Options:
The OHM K can have tighter and deeper bass with the addition of a new SubBass Activator (SBA) with our upgraded 8'' woofer and a new 12'' passive radiator. The SBA eliminates the drive below the speaker's natural response to reduce distortion and clean up the deep bass. This allows for lower distortion, higher output and deeper bass, plus uses a self-resetting protection circuit. The upgraded woofers have a new cone surround that is projected to last up to 30 years and FerroFluid cooling which handles the termo transients from CDs.
Trade-In Options:
Ohm allows up to $495 for the return of a complete pair of undamaged Ohm Ks toward 25% of the purchase price of new Ohm speakers.
