The E2 was the last of the E series. It used a
vented enclosure and SubBass Activator to extend the deep bass while retaining
the natual voice reproduction the E series was known for.
Upgrade Options:
A second (high) tweeter can be added with our D-C kit. This kit
includes two 1' cloth dome tweeters (from the C3) with crossovers attached to
the back of them. You have to cut a hole (about 3' diameter) with a
keyhole or sabersaw in the front panel. You remove the old tweeter, run
the wires to the new crossover, run the new crossover wires to the old tweeter,
reinstall the old tweeter and intall the new tweeter. You are back in
business with much widder distersion in the high treble.
Trade-In Options:
Ohm allows up to $395 for the return of a complete pair of undamaged Ohm E2s toward 25% of the purchase price of new Ohm speakers.
